A MOTHERS DAY REFLECTION..

Words cannot express how thankful I am for my mother. When the Lord created her, he created her in the likeness of him. Strong enough to weather the toughest storms, but gentle enough to understand my issues & be that confidant that I need. No gift, big or small will ever amount to the gift she gave me 26 years ago; the gift of life!


Being a mother, I imagine, is a rather tough job. I recall growing up, times were tough, money was tight, but with my mother being the selfless individual she is, she always saw to it that my brother & I had the best of everything. She often would forgo eating just so we could eat. I'm sure many of you can attest to this. There's nothing a mother wouldn't do for her children.

Mothers carry the weight of the world on their shoulders. Its a tough job but somebody has to do it. Even when I showed my ass & didn't deserve my mothers love, she loved me anyway. My mother is my best friend. We talk, laugh & cry together. Without her, I definitely would lose my mind. She keeps me sane in this chaotic world we live in.

Now that I'm older, I appreciate my mom twice as much. She is the bombdotcom, & I wouldn't trade her in for anything. She's like a fine wine, she gets better with age. Not to mention she's still fly! One of the original fly girls. What can I say, I"ll always love my MAMA!

So to all my mama's here on Baller Alert & worldwide, enjoy your day! We appreciate you. To my single moms out there, keep up the great work. You definitely have my respect. The gift of life is to be cherished. If it weren't for you guys, we wouldn't be here learning from you.
