BALLERIFIC VIDEO PREMIERE:BEYONCE-EGO
Beyonce has done it again, or should I say Sasha Fierce? She's keeping a steady hand when dealing with the black & white themed videos & for what its worth, they get the job done. Big hair, funky little dance numbers, signature Beyonce style. Ego, perhaps the strongest of the tracks on the Sasha Fierce release is undoubtedly my favorite. The lyrics are a one hitter quitter. Despite what folks say, having an ego ain't all bad. Ladies, if you're bad, stay that way, besides as BA Itchbays, we walk & talk like this cuz we can back it up!

Comment by OfficialGroupie on May 22, 2009 at 2:55am - i loved the song when i first heard it before the album even dropped. i posted a discussion about it awhile back. it is one of my favorite songs! but im not too impressed by the video. it seems like with each album she has a theme and sticks with it all throughout her videos and appearances.

It was like a spoof of a beyonce video with the extra hard dancing to each and every beat at the beginning, the butt pads in her sequined leotard, the wind blowing her big curly weave, I can't. Sorry Bey, but this is a MISS. Not epic.

I disagree... I love it. It's so simply. She she got a ego... don't need much else. It's like Bey is so big and the song is so like dat, that a video w/ too much is in fact TOO much. Yay Bey!! I got a new theme song.
However, the song is really what does it for me. I would expect a song w/ that melody to have that for lyrical content. I loves it!!
