YOUR FRIEND HAS A BAD REP...WHAT DO YOU DO?
So your friend has a bad reputation about being a hoe. What do you do? I asked a question on twitter about this subject and out of 25 girls..2 girls said they would not be friends..or go out with a hoe. I had a good friend in high school that had a reputation as being a hoe..and right after we graduated I distanced myself from her. Looking back on that I regret it. She was a great friend..and we had so much fun together. I still ask about her to this day.
The bad thing about a "rep" is that it doesn't have to be true...so who are we to judge?
If you enjoy someone's company and they are a friend..who cares who they sleep with. Most of these men that call women ho's are ho's themselves.
Stop caring what people think of you...they are doing nothing for you.
What are your thoughts on this subject?

I think I would just have to come to my own conclusion's about her, and see if her actions affect me in any way. I would never purposely try to put myself in an uncomfortable or unhealthy situation so I would just see if she is a good friend, and if her hoeish ways come from something deep within or if it's something that can be worked on. I know what I am, and who I am, and I know Im not a hoe. And nobody can ever say that about me either. What she does with her life is her bizness.

Not only they were h*es but they were the "put ur life in danger" type of h*es, them the kinda h*es I cant f**k wit.

As long as the guys she slept with were not guys she knew I had a crush on or my boyfriend that was her business. I always hated that double standard. Guys who were sleeping with 20 or more girls a month were ready to call a girl a hoe if she was sleeping with the same guy for a year! GTFOH. I really disliked the boys I went to high school with. Losers, abusers and jerks with one or two good ones sprinkled in.

- The term hoe is too broad. Some people think if you have slept wtih more than 2 people than you are a hoe. Others if you sleep with more than two a day! I think we need Baller Alert Certified definition of hoe just to clear things up :P

He went on to let me know she was a whore who had a bunch of fans in several of the area high schools. I believed him b/c he didn't even go to my school & b/c we were real friends. My response to him? "She is one of my best friends & I have no idea what you're talking about. So, until she does some foul mess in front of me or gets me involved in something, she will remain one of my best friends." 10+ years later she is still one of my best friends and a completely changed person. Btw, she never did anything in front of me or talked about it so I have no proof (other than similar questions posed to our other best friends & a few incidents brought to our attention) she was actually what I heard. None of us actually asked her b/c at the end of the day, she was always right there when we needed her & vice versa.

They keep it honest and open up front so no one gets hurt and they have me to make sure they dont get hurt. We got each others back no matter what.

I honestly get it, like you said, this may not be my life, and I am thankful for that. I can respect Oprah and TP and the cast for giving a face and a voice to the problems that many young women face, however, I was just very disturbed, and I mean...
After reading the book I am so good on seeing this movie. The book had me in tears. It was awful. Not only does her mother "give" her to her father, but she also sexual, mentally, and physically abuses her. Too sad, too bad its a reality to some.
I feel like this was made up.
