Coming out of lurk mode. I’m so distraught about this. I hate how the media will bring you up just to beat you down. They are saying he died from, bulimia, drug abuse and steroid usage which are not proven true. May he rest in peace and let his family grieve in private. They are focusing on all the bad things that have not been proven to be true, I will remember him for his musical genius! *** going back to watching “Dirty Diana” video. ***

RIP MJ!! Even though he is "man" I never thought this day would come. I am truly saddened by this, my prayers go out to the whole JACKSON family & his kids. He is already missed. I'm heartbroken.

have no idea how to form the words to express what I'm feeling... sitting here with my boys & Goddaughter getting on their nerves with my corny dancing & memories of all of my MJ gear!!! Wishing they knew the Michael we knew... tonights coverage only gives them a glimpse... thanks CNN & BET... Thanks for all the memories Mike... Often immitated, never duplicated. You were truly one of a kind, and you will definitly be missed!

John Mayer: Dazed in the studio. A major strand of our cultural DNA has left us. RIP MJ. I think we'll mourn his loss as well as the loss of ourselves as children listening to Thriller on the record player.

RIP MJ...my fav mike song was "heaven can wait"...Its so funny the same news outlets that used to call him "wacko jacko" & talked abt him dangling his child from a balcony are now acting like he was god. Hollywood is something....smh.... I think people should appreciate people while they live & not just when they die...
