STEVE MCNAIR IS NOT THE PAPI....
The Steve McNair Fiasco has been so sad. Recently a Missississpi woman filed a claim against his estate claimng he had a 17-year old love child. He was not the pappi.
A paternity test has shown the former gridiron star did not father the girl, said Lou Taylor, of Tri Star Sports and Entertainment Group, spokesman for McNair's estate.
Handlers of his estate anticipated there would be potential claims against his fortune, which has been valued at about $19.6 million.
"Very early on it was apparent there would be additional heirs,'' Taylor said. "We took every precaution necessary to be able to provide accurate information for potential claims."
Clover Lee, who lives in McNair's hometown of Mount Olive, Miss., said she had a relationship with McNair when they were younger. She said that McNair was the biological father of her daughter, referred to as J. N. L. in court filings.
"We were friends, and I never tried to harm him," she said on Friday. "We dated in high school, and we kept it a secret. I knew him before he was an NFL player when he didn't have a dime. When he got killed, I had no other choice."

McNair was killed when a girl he was creeping with shot him and herself.
Police have said the motive for the murder-suicide was the woman's inability to pay her bills and her jealously over other women in McNair's life.

But he couldn't risk the scandal... & more than likely his lawyers knew... So she figured there wouldn't be any requests for DNA... but with all the hoes he was piping down (past & til death) they put a plan in place for "claims like this"... so now her ass is screwed. & she obviously wasn't saving any of the cash... Now she has to 1. explain to her daughter she was loose back in the day, and 2. possible find the real daddy...

Well this isn't any surprise...
I don't think she was getting hush money or any other kind of money. Steve has a son that is also 17 and that he had prior to meeting and marrying his wife and prior to him getting into the NFL, so why wouldn't he be in his "daugher's" life as well if he knew she was his? Then he had another son two years after the first one. There wouldn't have been any scandal if that was in fact his daughter. He had nothing to lose.He most certainly claimed both of his sons by other women other than Mechelle(without DNA testing) and have been in their lives.
Naw ol girl just thought she could try and pull one over on his estate. This is very common for chicks to do after a wealthy/rich man that they may or may not have slept with has past.
