For Women Who Want The Ballerific Life!
In April 2001, the Mephis, Tennesse native's father was kidnapped and murdered and he soon after found out that he had fathered a daughter.
Instead of letting these circumstances cripple him, MeMpHiTz moved to New York and began interning at Arista Records. After a chance meeting with A&R guru Mark Pitts he soon was able to build relationships with the likes of Jermaine Dupri and LA Reid.
While still an intern Jermaine Dupri gave MeMpHiTz the once in a lifetime opportunity to work on the Youngbloodz project and he came up with their hit "Damn". He then discovered St. Louis artist J-Kwon and created the summer anthem "Tipsy".
After the labels folding, MeMpHiTz took his hitmaking skills to Jive Records becoming Vice President of A&R and signing an unknown Florida artist named T-Pain.
"My whole slogan is 'In Hitz We Trust'. If you aint making no hits, you aint making no paper and they aint f****** with you", MeMpHiTz said.
This twenty something industry executive is definitely one to watch and his career although already explosive is just beginning.
