During NBA All-Star Weekend back in 2006, Laura decided to enter a model competition in order to gain access to all major events taking place. The show never materialized, but needless to say she ended up getting discovered in spite of it. What followed was casting call for Show Magazine, where she earned a 12-page spread in the publication. Since then she’s been featured in XXL Magazine, FHM Magazine, Black Mens Magazine, Lowrider Girl, the Ultimate Fight Night Calendar, the Karl Kani International Ad Champagne with Three 6 Mafia, and an array of other projects. In just two short years, she’s built up a solid resume and by the ways things are going, her credits will only continue to increase. As the saying goes: “Everything is big in Texas” and Laura Dore can certainly add her name to that statement.

I am going to start naming all my stuff next time someone asks me and I will throw brazilian and Italian in there to be more "exotic". Start saying stuff like 'Obrigado' and 'Ciao' to back it up. Comment by livelife25 on October 24, 2009 at 5:01pm - Okay, this is something that seriously irritates me: when these chicks names all these countries as their "ethnicities." ummm, no sweetie, you are naming "nationalities." THERE IS A DIFFERENCE. Also, they need to stop naming all these places when they don't know SHIT about them! Just cause one ancestor in your distant past may have had an extended stay in a place does not give you ties to it! I am "exotic" (as in not originally from the U.S.), but I've got brown skin, so guess what? I am BLACK, and I call myself that. GTFOH.
