He's treated you like s*** and you have decided to you have to let him go. It is hard but possible.
Here are some tips on how to let him go:
Don't email, IM , phone, or even say hi, it will open wounds that you are trying to close. Don't answer calls from them either. (block his IM name, his name in your phone should now appear "don't answer")
Tell him that it's over just to be sure so he doesn't still ponder on the idea and make a stupid decision to try to undo everything you've done. If he broke up with you, then leave it, give them the time they need for themselves and maybe you can be platonic friends in the future. Usually relationships happen for a reason.
Realize that you two weren't meant for each other, so the sooner you give him up, the sooner you can find a baller who is.
Get rid of all memories of him as hard as it seems. This will help so much. Think of someone else.
Know you can do it. Once you've started, just keep on going.
Close the book; you have many potential soul mates and reminiscing about the past only means you're not happy with your own life, not because you are without a partner.
Keep away from all the stuff that will remind you of your baller like sex toys, accessories, pictures, cards, letters, etc.
Stop mentioning his name!
If you still feel upset about the past relationship, try talking to someone like a friend or a counselor to help along the process of getting over them.
Make a list of all the things you've always wanted to do, and do them. you don't need a man in your life to make you happy, and some time with yourself will help you to appreciate yourself.
Ask yourself why you want them, is it because you're lonely and want someone, anyone to keep you company and to have fun with? You don't need a man/woman to do that, a platonic friend is all you need.
Don't go on the rebound and get with the first person you find. You won't be happy and you'll be comparing your new partner to your last because you didn't have enough time to get over them and start afresh.
You may want him (or her) back, but don't give in! It will erase all of the progress you have made.
