Apollo Nida Goes AWOL, Does Not Turn Himself In To Prison

Apollo Nida is a lot of things but smart is not one of them. After spending the last month or so  partying, plotting a tell-all book and arguing with his wife daily, Real Housewives of Atlanta star Apollo Nida has neglected to turn himself in to jail to begin his prison stint today.  Apollo Nida is facing an 8 year sentence for money laundering and bank fraud and you’d think he would be happy considering he sang like a canary to get that deal.

It’s being reported that Apollo, who was to turn himself in this morning, went nuts on Phaedra when she refused to put money on his books and said she wouldn’t be bring their kids to visit. Can you blame her? Apollo allegedly lost it, forcing his way into their home screaming to Phaedra “What the f*** is the matter with you,” adding, “I don’t give a f*** about the police, call them, I dare you.”  If you ask me, she should have called and got his ass out of there but I’m sure there kids were there and that would be a little confusing to them.

According to eye witness (see: Real Housewives cameras that were rolling at the time) Apollo demanded property and went into the home stuffing things into a large bag. The deadline for Apollo to turn himself in was noon and when that didn’t happen, an arrest warrant was issued.

File this under “Dumb Nigga News”. You’re going to jail anyway, why not just go in peace. You have 8 years to attempt to convince Phaedra to change her mind but getting additional time tacked on to your sentence for attempting to evade the law is not smart.  Where is the star of a hit reality show going to hide, exactly? At Kenya’s house?
