Are You Happily The Side Chick?
We all say it'll never be us. We'll never be the other chick, the main chick, or anything but the only chick but when it comes down to it, you've probably allowed yourself to be just that.
Would you give up on an otherwise good man because you're not the only woman in his life? Let's assume you are with your baller and he has a girlfriend. He still spends a lot of time with you, showers you with gifts and treats you very well. He hasn't hid from you the fact that he has another relationship, he just refuses to leave her for whatever reason. Is that enough grounds for you to leave him? Let's be honest, you really don't care much about his treatment of a woman you don't really know when he pretty much treats you well. At first most women would probably say they would never find themselves in this predicament but for the right Baller, sure you will.
One of the things about being a happy side-chick is understand that you are a side-chick. Admitting and understanding this is the first key to embracing this new lifestyle. And yes, it definitely is a lifestyle. Things change when you're the side-chick. Those who are more used to being social butterflies and having public displays of affection may need to get used to not being able to be out and about with their mate as much. You must respect that. The minute you get upset because he "doesn't take you out" is the minute you can lose an otherwise good relationship over something extremely petty. Sometimes the side-chick has to learn to entertain herself when her Baller is away.
The next thing a side-chick must understand is that she may not always come first. These days Baller's keep around their wives and "main" chicks for an image. It's not as easy for him to give her up when his life is in the spotlight. You must understand that though there will be times you want to share that spotlight, you simply can't. That is the main woman in his life's job. Anytime she needs him, it's highly possible that he will come running. this is something you'll have to deal with. If you can understand this, you can get through anything.
Lastly, don't be surprised that if you become the main chick, that there will be a side chick eventually. The down side to being the other woman is that it can become a vicious cycle. A man who is used to the company of multiple woman rarely finds satisfaction with just one. All the sex in the world won't make him stick to a single woman. This is one of the things that come with the territory that you may just have to accept. Can you find yourself happily being a side chick?

I would do it if the guy was wealthy, BUT I would make sure I wrap my brain around the fact that it is a "business deal", and still do me because when he goes home, he does him. He would not be the only guy I'm seeing, that's when things get messed up. I was a side chick and although he did help financially, i caught feelings and he was also doing alot of lying. But if everybody knows whats what in the beginning, things go alot smoother
