Yesterday I got the opportunity to chat with Mimi Faust of Love & Hip Hop Atlanta to discuss some of the recent drama surrounding her relationship with Stevie J and allegations that Stevie J currently has custody of their 3 year old daughter, Eva. In the first half of the interview we talked about everything from Stevie J's living situation to what a girlfriend's place is in a baby mama/baby daddy drama situation.

BA:  We last spoke with you in July and at the time you said that you and Stevie J were no longer together. Since then we have definitely seen you guys make public appearances, etc. Between July and now had you guys reconciled and gotten back together?

MIMI - No we have not. We have not been back together but we do have a 3 year old that we do have to co-parent. We do have to do some kind of business together.



BA: So you guys are together as parents but nothing more?
MIMI: Correct.



BA: Are you and Stevie J still living together?
MIMI: Absolutely not.



BA: The last time he lived with you, was it back in July when we last spoke or was it before then?
MIMI: It was before then, and then I ended up staying at his house because of the baby a few months ago but we still weren't together.



BA: You moved with him because of the baby?
MIMI: No, I moved in because his sister was the Nanny. I was traveling and working and his sister was there to watch Eva. It was convienent for when I had to just get up and go, she was right there with the baby.



BA: To your knowledge is Stevie J in a relationship with Joseline currently?
MIMI: I don't know what they're doing. It appears to me that they're together but he lies to me and says they are not. He's with her everyday so if you ask me they're together. He's still lying though, saying 'No, they're not' and 'It's just work', and still with that s*** [laughs]




BA:  So once and for all, does  Eva, your daughter currently live with Stevie J?
MIMI: Eva lives with me. Eva has always lived with me. Always. She goes where I go.



BA: Is Stevie's sister still the Nanny?
MIMI: She is not.



BA: What would drive him to say that he has custody of your daughter?
MIMI: Stevie J is just childish and spiteful. That's basically it. Anytime he gets upset or mad it can cause him to lie about any given thing at any given time. So, there you have it.



BA: Why would he be mad at you?
MIMI: Because I don't want to deal with him. He's still playing this game where he wants me to deal with him while he's dealing with her [Joseline] and Lord knows who else. I'm cool on that. I don't want to be bothered.



BA: Is there some type of court ordered custody agreement in place?
MIMI: We've never, ever, ever gone to court about anything. We've never step foot into a court room, ever.



BA: Do you trust Joseline around your daughter?
MIMI: Absolutely not. Absolutely 150% NOT! I don't like her around my daughter. I don't want her around my daughter but if he's with her how can I prevent that? I'm not longer there so I can't control what goes on in that house. That was part of the reason I WAS there. I knew his sister was watching Eva and I knew that if I was there that Joseline would not be there, but when I moved out and got my own I can't control who goes over there. I can't stop her from coming over there. That's my issue that I'm dealing with now.



BA: Has Joseline ever had any contact with your daughter?
MIMI: Yes she is. My daughter sees her. She knows her name. Yes, she definitely has. Joseline will be screaming "Oh, I love you Eva!" just to be antagonistic towards me, its just so much BS with the entire situation.



BA: I am a strong believer that the GIRLFRIEND should stay out of the MOTHER and FATHER's business
MIMI: There's a lot of things that Joseline should stay her ass out of, but she doesn't so I mean, hey.. She's always getting into something that has nothing to do with her.  Hence that fight that happened. She is always doing something that had nothing to do with her so I expect nothing less as far as this situation is concerned.
