Well, let's start with the facts. The writer OPENLY ADMITS to not knowing him or his child's mother "that well". Thus, her opinion as to why he doesn't care for her child is just that...AN OPINION. I think the moral of the story is he has a child he doesn't take care of (like many of the other players in the NFL). Can't say I'm surprised and, I personally do not believe he has color issues.

I have to roll with everyone else, I can't see the connection between his so called color issues and the first child. We need more info and apparently so does the author. But it is unfortunate that he has decided to not be in the first boy's life, but if he gave up his parental rights that speaks volumes. It kinda goes back to another discussion where someone stated that the father loves through the mother. He apparently wanted to cut all ties with the first mother.

If the Mother didn't want this to come out, and this "friend"came out with it?  Really?  That's messed up.  It seems like both parties have comed to terms monetary and skin color I don't think played a difference.  He didn't want to deal with a child.  He was scum.  Maybe he has fessed up to his new wife.  Who knows?  All we know is this friend is now scum too.

Meh. I only have a problem with men who don't take care of their children in any way, shape, or form. It looks like it was a mutual split. He pays child support and has set up a trust for his son when he turns 18. It is unfortunate that he isn't taking a part in the raising of the child but that is something he will more than likely have to deal with somewhere down the line. The one you reject for NO GOOD REASON is always the one you are going to need.

Whether him and his first baby mother get along doesn't make it right for him not to be in the child's life. That's just crazy.

I agree not sure about the self hate part.. But we do have to point out that the wife and  2nd baby mother is light skined.  So maybe theres some truth to notion light is right.  I also cant get down with anyone who would choose to give up their parental rights to one then all of a sudden is daddy of the year to his others.  Sad sad .. Hope its not true!!

Story says he got girl pregnant... Paternity test... IMO that's WHY he's not in the child's life... Doesn't seem like the foundation was strong to begin with... He pays child support and has a trust set up...

Him not being in the child's life could very well be a blessing...
