Speaking as someone who is a reformed publicist and you're right Eleven8 being a publicist is a thankless job. But I digress, Quin should've gotten a retainer fee upfront at least $1000 to $15000. My cardinal rule was to never ever use my money in the hopes of getting it back from the client. Did that once and once was enough.

I don't understand a few things about Quin's biz practices. If she had him under contract (and he agreed to those terms with his signature) then why not include the payment agreement? Something tells me the contract she created came after all the lip service that Eric gave and disappeared on her. Lesson: Don't fall for the celebrity. They can be deadbeats too.

@MsCee it said that he did not sign the contract. he told her he couldn't sign anything because of his impending divorce.

This story is like comparing apples and oranges to me. So Eric (who is not w/o fault) went in on a woman who had a very vocal role in influencing the end of his marriage; was it tactless? Yes. Rude? Yes. Highly inappropriate? Yes. But what does that have to do with Quin Marshall or his alleged debt to her? If he had posted photos of him in a new Lambo or blowing money @ the club I could maybe see her issue. Then again, I really don't understand why she didn't just file suit against him in small claims court if all she wants is to be paid. But for her to "blast" him bc she doesn't like how he chooses to exercise his first amendment rights is ridiculous. Obviously this publicist doesn't take herself, her business or her brand seriously. Who wants to work with someone who is known to run around posting negativity about former "clients"? That is beyond unprofessional. Who in the hell with a brain runs a business based on verbal contracts? FYI people lie. It is extremely hard to prove the terms of a verbal contract and/or that both parties agreed to those terms, without written proof to back up claims. That's why you'll never see a bank giving out loans based on "verbal contracts". I see Quin never watched judge Judy...

What is up with people giving thousands away with the "verbal assurance" they'll get that back? Don't they know that he said she said is not valid in a court of law? And since when did divorce proceedings keep someone from signing a contract with a publicist that is totally independent of his marriage? She doesn't sound very bright and she just tarnished her own credibility with future clients cause she can't even properly represent her own business apparently...

why do these folks get all out in the media?! the media don't love dem hoes. all you're businsess is for public record! Boss/Eleven will you all be getting an exclusive interview with Eve once she decides to divorce and sue the hell outta Chad?
