Ballerific Music: Nas Spills The Beans On Kelis In New "Bye Baby" Video
One of my favorite songs off of one of my favorite albums from one of my favorite artists dropped last night and I couldn't be more thrilled as to how it turned out. Nas recently dropped the video to "Bye Baby" exclusively on Vevo. The song which is produced by Noah "40" Shebib tells the story of the rise and fall of Nas' marriage to Kelis. Nas passionately reminisces about the first time he saw Kelis on TV, the 2007 arrest in Miami, their son and how he promises to be a better man for the next woman. Through his eyes you get to see how Nas reacts to Kelis leaving him, binge drinks while watching home movies and ultimately signs the papers giving her half of his earnings. My favorite part of the video would be Nas re-enacting the album cover that features Kelis' infamous green wedding dress. Well actually, a guest cameo by Aaron Hall wasn't bad either. Where they dig him up at?

Nas is one of the most passionate rappers in the game and has ALWAYS been! So glad he is free and happy and was able to express this is a good light! I LOVE YOU Nasir! Wishing you much more peace and prosperity!
