Today Trey Songz drops his fifth studio album properly titled, Chapter V. That's "5" for those who are a bit on the slow side. Trey held a listening session in Chicago over the weekend where he sampled the tracks from his album for major music and label executives. I was fortunate to have a correspondent at the event. The album begins with the title intro "Chapter V" and right from the beginning he's proclaiming this album is for the ladies. The intro moves effortlessly into "Dive In", a song full of sexual innuendo on an Al B Sure'esque melody. This cut reminds me of the foreplay that usually leads up to a "Neighbors Know My Name" type of night. Songs like "Panty Wetter" and "Forever Yours" continue to follow the super sexual formula while other songs like "Heart Attack", "Fumble", "Bad Decisions" and "Never Again" tell the classic story of heartbreak and regret. Fans can come to expect more of what they love about Trey with the new Chapter V, that is a certain guarantee.

For those who have found themselves taking a liking to the newer more "Say Aah" type Trey Songz, there are definitely a few harder club hits on this album as well. Fans looking for a party will love tracks such as "2 Reasons" ft. TI, "Hail Mary" ft. Young Jeezy & Lil Wayne and my favorite "Check Me Out" featuring Diddy & Meek Mill. The iTunes download includes two bonus tracks and two videos. Between 22 tracks, every Trey fan new or old will definitely find something they like.
