BALLERIFIC RECAP: CHRISETTE MICHELE BRINGS HER EPIPHANY TO JIN

As you all know Chrisette Michele is set to release her sophomore release Epiphany May 5th. The scene is set. The venue: Jin.A very intimate scene here in the Nations Capitol in which only the chosen few were invited. Of course Baller Alert was in attendance. The rain couldn't stop those interested in hearing the very soulful Michele perform a few choice tracks off her upcoming release.

I've always been one for more intimate venues, especially with those artists who encompass all things soulful. You appreciate their artistry more. At least that's just my opinion. You feel one with the artist. Needless to say Chrisette was very personable. She performed a three song set, of which Blame It, a track, that has yet to be leaked won over the crowd. She poured her out into this track as she walked & serenaded a few, particularly those of the male persuasion.

Overall, the evening was nothing less than splendid. I enjoyed it because I've never seen her live & I must say I was pleased. I'm not mad at her for keeping the remainder of the album under wraps, I already know it'll be certified!

I couldn't leave without mentioning the appearance by Radio Raheem. Its always good to see artists' supporting one another.
