Ballerific Relationships: You & Your Bestie Are Feeling The Same Guy, Who Should Back Off?
It's a dog eat dog world out here and with good men being an endangered species, what do you do to ensure that you don't end up alone forever? Let's say you and a good girl friend of yours meet a guy roughly around the same time. He's a great guy and would definitely make a great catch, if you were only able to snag him. Just one small problem, your friend confesses she has a slight crush on him too. What do you do? Do you step aside and let your girl have at it or do you go in for the kill and try and snag him first?
I asked a few of my Twitter followers and here is what they had to say:

@SharSings: yea. No point going there. obviously he's not (a great catch) if he's got two falling for him. I find that unlikely but that would make it harder indeed
@2SMALL_: yes.. I wouldn't want too ..but I would because I'm a loyal person.. guys come and go but your girls .. those r your girls
@KAMI2HOT: fall back; i don't like guys that a lot of chicks are checking for but thank goodness i have different taste from all of my friends

Out of all of these answers I agree with the last one, may the best b**** win. I feel that there is a man for every woman out there and who's to say that this great guy isn't mine? If I were in this position, I would definitely continue doing exactly what I had been doing before. If my feelings became so unbearable that I had to let the guy know how I felt, I would. Hopefully those feelings would be reciprocated. If not, you move on. At least I could say I tried. One thing I won't do is just let some other woman take a man that I want, even if she's a friend. Honestly, you never know if she'd even do the same for you. You may be the good friend to back away only for the other woman to go in for the kill. So in my opinion, may the best b**** win and if it isn't me, it just isn't me.

Thank goodness me and my bestie are opposites when it comes to the men we are attracted to. If we were to fall for the same guy i think i would fall back automatically.I dont think any man is worth the drama.

I'm with Desiree. I usuallly fall back in instances like this. I just don't think it's worth the drama. Plus if he didn't "choose" me, I'm not gon be tryna make it an issue if she wants to get with him.

I think he should do the choosing. Most men will make it apparent who they want more. They will talk to the one they like a little more, flirt with her a little more, be interested in her business more than the other friends...etc. If he's feeling my friend more than me, I will gracefully bow out.

I always fall back, cause I know my intentions with dude is to just play around and have fun. I find that many of my girlfriends go into the "he's-the-one-OMG-I-just-know-it" mode and act like I'm about to swoop in on their one true love. I approach it a bit more realistically: we'll probably have a few dates if we hit it off. So I just let them live in their moment cause I know there'll be another one for me sometime, somewhere. As Desiree said, not worth the girl drama.
