The Baller formerly known as Ron Artest will be returning to the Lakers, sources say.
The contract is to be signed today with Artest taking his physical on Friday. Reports say that Artest, who’s been out of the league for a year, will be joining the Lakers in Hawaii for training camp on Monday.
During the 2013-14 season, after being waived by the NY Knicks, Ron Artest aka Metta World Peace played in China where he changed his name once again to The Panda’s Friend. He played with the Lakers from 2009-2013. Considering how instrumental he was in the Lakers 2010 championship win, it’ll be interesting to see if he has what it takes to help bring another ring to LAL.
