Beware Of The Pseudo Baller
I would like to take a moment to offer a little guidance to the newbies and help them avoid the Pseudo-Baller. What is that you ask? The Pseudo Baller is essentially and individual that will put on a front that makes you believe they're balling, but in all actuality, they're not balling by any means. Here's some info on how to spot and avoid these lames.
Don't Be Fooled By Flashy Jewelry
Real baller's don't have to wear an array of flashy jewelry because it is already known who they are. If he has to try hard to give off the facade that he is balling, chances are he's NOT balling and no one knows him.
Don't Believe Twitter/Facebook Hype
All too often you see pseudo ballers talking about how they're chilling in VIP at the hottest parties. The problem is, they just TALK about it! If they're aren't any photo or word-of-mouth evidence it's safe to assume that your alleged "baller" was nowhere near VIP, let alone that club.
He Has No Baller Buddies
Baller Boys hang with other Baller Boys. If your alleged "baller" is hanging with nothing but common folk, yet no other baller even knows his name, chances are he's not ballerific at all.
Beware Of The Name Dropper
Real Ballers avoid name dropping because they can prove it. If your "baller" is constantly name dropping, yet can't get into the clubs that are hosted by those very names he's been dropping....chances are your baller is a fraud. If you know them like you say, prove it!
Don't Fall For Excessive Splurging
NBA All Star Weekend falls too close to Tax Refund time so don't be fooled by "ballers" who splurge excessively. If he's buying bottles in the club, taking you out to eat, tricking on new clothes, feel free to take his number and call him in 2 weeks. If he can't fly you to his location, he was never really "balling" to begin with.
Google Is Your Friend
Any true baller can be googled. Hell, anyone can be googled period! If a guy is balling like he says, you should be able to find proof of that on google. With everyone being the proud owner of a smart phone, there's no excuses for getting duped!

This is always the case when you go to an out of town function. It's going to be allot of fakes and phonies that spent their rent and car payment money to be in the building.

I live in LA, always have ...DOES ANYBODY THINK ALL STAR IS FOR FAKES, AT THE CLUBS NOT THE GAME (entertainment only). And it's better to pick a future NBA player in the Summer League. That's my PERSONAL 1 CENT opinion.

I went to All Star weekend only ONE time: for my 18th bday (it always is the weekend of my bday) and let's just say that was the day I saw this first hand. This dude was in the club I was in for a quick sec, like one drink, an appearance to get paid, and rolled out; I got his number and then he invited me to brunch on Robertson the next day. He was on the injured list but broke it down to me about All Star weekend and how it is for losers bc no real ballers would ever take anyone seriously if they met on All Star weekend, except for RARE times.
