Calvin Harris, whose song “This Is What You Came For” with Rihanna is burning up the charts, was involved in a terrible car accident.
Harris was a passenger in a Cadillac SUV, around 11pm Friday night, when a Volkswagen Bug convertible carrying a 16 year old driver and her teenage friends crossed the center line. The two vehicles collided, according to TMZ. It was so bad that one of the passengers of the VW, who was sitting on her boyfriend’s lap, was ejected.
Calvin Harris suffered a laceration to his face that required immediate medical attention. He was transported to the hospital but when told there weren’t any private rooms, he hopped off the gurney and left. Hopefully he went to another nearby hospital and isn’t just running around untreated.
The driver of the VW and her passenger that was ejected were also taken to the hospital. The passenger suffered a broken pelvis.
