Carmelo Anthony Re-Signs With Knicks, Lamar Odom Dropped

Well it looks like we know where Carmelo will be playing next season — right back with the New York Knicks. Although the details have not been confirmed yet, Carmelo is expected to receive a five-year, $129 million contract to stay in New York. That’s just a little better than Chris Bosh received to stay. I guess that shuts down all rumors that Melo was signing with the Lakers or Bulls.

One Baller who will be leaving New York is Lamar Odom, who has been waived after signing a two year contract with the team in April. “Unfortunately, Lamar was unable to uphold the standards to return as an NBA player,” Phil Jackson told CBS Sports. He has yet to go into detail as to what changed between now and April.
