Carolina Panthers QB Cam Newton was carried off in a stretcher this afternoon following his involvement in a car wreck in Charlotte. “Mr. Newton was involved in a two car collision on S. Church street in Charlotte at approximately 12:30 today,” the Charlotte police said in a statement. “He and the driver of the other vehicle were both transported to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries. The Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police Department is investigating the cause of the wreck.”
It’s being reported that Cam’s truck flipped 3 times but thankfully he is responsive and could even be seen smiling for cameras that gathered.
