Ciara Inadvertently Convinced Jennifer Hudson To Get Hitched

Jennifer Hudson has been engaged to fiance, professional wrestler and former reality star, David Otunga, for 8 years. Though the two have a son together, Hudson has always said that she wanted to take things slow — really, really slow — when it came to marriage. Fortunately for David, a trip to Ciara’s wedding may have brought on the wedding fever for J. Hud, and the two may be taking that trip down to the altar sooner than later.

“After being at Ciara’s wedding, I’m like, okay,” Hudson told Essence Magazine. “I don’t know, it inspired something. I just loved her dress. It was so beautiful. So that made me say, okay, all [of] my friends and peers are married now. You know what I mean?”

Jennifer has never really opened up about why she wanted to hold off marriage for so long, but I commend David for hanging in there.
