“Closed Eyes”

I must have had closed eyes when that nigga was right in front of my eyes cheating on me.
I must have had closed eyes when I didn’t see the signs that our relationship was changing.
I must have had closed eyes not to see that he was not the one for me.
When my eyes was closed I couldn’t see the shit that was going on in front of me, I only wanted to see the shit I wanted to see.
I couldn’t see that the man in front of me was not truly in love with me.
My closed eyes had me thinking that we were gone last forever, when in reality we were slowly slipping apart and the love I had for him was slowly leaving my heart.
Closed eyes will have you living in the dark while your world is really falling apart
