Colin Kaepernick Speaks Up Regarding Sexual Assault Accusations

For the first time since the Miami sexual assault accusations, Colin Kaepernick is speaking out. The San Fran QB took to his Twitter to speak directly to fans. “The charges made in the TMZ story and other stories I’ve seen are completely wrong.  They make things up about me that never happened. I take great pride in who I am and what I do, but  I guess sometimes you have to deal with someone who makes things up.  I want to thank all of the people who have shared their encouraging sentiments. I assure you that your faith is not misplaced.

I for one am very disappointed that TMZ needed to reach so hard for a story. With full access to the police report, it was OBVIOUS after one read that there was no sexual misconduct being reported and this was nothing more than a girl taking precautionary measures. TMZ’s shotty reporting in this matter not only harms the player’s reputation, but also the reputation of the woman involved and any other victims who may want to come forward and speak against sexual violence. Everything isn’t a “BREAKING” story or an “EXCLUSIVE.” If TMZ absolutely had to report it, why not report it as is.

But that would be too much like right.  Needless to say TMZ refuses to update their story or even back down. They’re now saying that Miami PD says the police report was sexual in nature and that Colin’s statement on Twitter does not mention what part of the story is actually false. You can read that foolery HERE.
