Confirmed: Love & Hip Hop New York (Season 3) Cast Revealed
I know we blogged about this before but I wanted to bring it back with the CONFIRMED cast of Love & Hip Hop Season 3 straight from VH1. Yandy, Rich Dollaz, Erica Mena and Olivia will be returning with the addition of the new cast members below.
Joe Budden- Fierce free-styling artist Joe Budden is widely considered one of hip hop’s most gifted lyricists. His Grammy award-winning song “Pump It Up” was featured in the hit movie 2 Fast 2 Furious. This ladies’ man is also known for posting about his very public relationships and break-ups online.
Tahiry Jose- Tahiry is a charismatic urban model who is best known for her rapid-fire sarcasm as well as her painful and very public break-up with Joe Budden.
Raqi Thunda- Radio personality and DJ Raqi Thunda has no problem keeping it real. Raqi and Joe Budden insist they are just long-time friends. However, Raqi and Joe’s ex, Tahiry don’t see eye- to- eye and have a tumultuous relationship.
Consequence - NYC rapper Consequence has established a successful career working with the likes of Kanye West and A Tribe Called Quest. His five year relationship with fellow cast member Jen Bayer and their 1-year old son Caiden has left the couple bickering about how to raise the child based on differing cultural and religious beliefs.
Jen “The Pen” Bayer - Known for dishing up gossip with DJ Whoo Kid and The Hot Boyz of Chicago, Jen has spent the past year raising Caiden, her son with cast member Consequence.
Winter Ramos - With a brief appearance in the second season of “Love & Hip Hop,” Winter Ramos, former assistant to rapper Fabolous, is making her name in hip hop history as she writes a tell-all book on her roster of famous ex-boyfriends and her life in the music industry. She is currently the Creative Costume Designer for Flavor Unit Films.
Rashidah Ali - Known as the “Blinged Out Bombshell,” Rashidah is most known for being a shoe consultant to the stars and is currently working on launching her own shoe line, Encore.
Back in the rap game and the bright lights of the city, one constant remains: New York truly is the birthplace of hip hop and the home of some of its biggest successes, but even more of its shattered dreams… and all of its secrets.
The cast has already begun filming and I'll be setting up interviews with the new cast mates soon so if you have any questions feel free to drop them in the Comments section and I'll keep them in mind. I won't lie, I definitely want to see how this Joe Budden and Tahiry thing plays out on television. “Love & Hip Hop” Season 3 premieres Monday, January 7th at 8PM.

Yea I still don't understand why people complain about not knowing these fools that get on TV, that's the point sometimes, so they can exploit and expose themselves. But I will say that I yawned half way through reading this too. I am so tired of these fame whoring hip hop folks. It's redundant.

lol trust me, evertime i've ever posted a cast list (love and hip hop season 1, love and hip hop atl) the first thing i hear is "boring, who are they, i dont know them"...and by episode 3 everyone is glued to the tv. No one knew anyone in the ATL cast, and no one knew anybody but Jim and Olivia in Season 1 of this cast. Fact is, u may know a lot of these people if ur heavy into hip hop behind the scenes but that doesnt mean it wont make for good tv...especially with some of the tea i just got

All I want to know is what the heck is a 'Creative Costume Designer'? Sounds like Winter Ramos got fired after mouthing off at Emily and telling her all of Fab's business on camera. Anyhoo, you should interview Joe Budden first since he's an attention whore airing out all of these X-rated photos just in time for Love & Hip-Hop NY's premiere.
