Derrick Rose Gets Emotional During Unveiling Of His New Sneaker
There's nothing like seeing something you truly considered your baby, grow. These are the exact same feelings that Derrick Rose had while at the unveiling of his new signature Adidas 'D Rose 3' sneakers, his 3rd pair of sneakers with the Adidas brand. After a very trying time dealing with ACL surgery and all the struggles in Chicago, Rose couldn't help but get a bit emotional at yesterday's press event.
“It’s truly a blessing. With all of the stuff that’s going on in this city, a kid from Englewood has got something positive going on. That makes me feel so good. This shoe is great; all this is great. But I can’t explain this. I can’t. I went through so much. To have, like, true fans, that means a lot to me. And I know it means a lot to my family, because we’re not supposed to be here. At all. But God made the way.”

I LOVE HIM!!!!! So many people get complacent (not only ballers, people in general), and to see someone who has been blessed with so much still be THIS grateful and respectful is humbling.
