Did Wale Attack Amanda Diva Over A Tweet?
The words "It's Just Twitter" are often said when someone catches feelings after something crazy is said online. Rumor has it the same thing happened between rapper Wale and Host of MTV Jams Hip Hop POV/Rapper Amanda "Diva" Seales.
The scenario begins at the annual Roots Picnic in Philly. Wale was set to perform and Amanda Diva was in attendance. Amanda Diva took to Twitter to throw a little humorous shade.
Well apparently Wale didn't find the tweet too funny. He retweeted the comment to acknowledge that he saw it and later during the show decided to approach Amanda about her comment. Now this is where the two have conflicting views on what happened.
Wale Says:
According to Wale, he approached Amanda about the tweets questioning why Amanda had a problem with him. It was at this point that Amanda got irate with him and started yelling at him. Wale, not sure where all this was coming from, began to argue with Amanda. Big mistake! Things escalate and Wale asks "What If I tweet things about you?". The situation escalates and then Amanda starts yelling out for him Wale not to touch her, he gets confused and he walks away from the entire situation all together. He then, in frustration takes to twitter to drop subliminal tweets with Taraji P Henson about "Bum Chicks". Bum Chicks referring to Amanda Diva.
Amanda Says:
Apparently Amanda is saying that Wale disrespectfully approached her over a tweet and got irate with her. She also says that he put his hands in her face & that her close friends had to diffuse the situation.
"I keep being told to "not sweat" that @Wale came in my face trying to fight me ovr a tweet. Y in hip hop do we excuse such behavior? Were I to get an apology then perhaps. But it shld be known that dude is completely out of line with women on a regular basis. Folks say "we expect that from him". But what does that mean? It's ok bcuz we all kno of the regularity of such behavior? In hip hop women r always expected to "be cool" abt completely out of line behavior from our male counterparts. No dice. At some point, in an intrvw, some1 will ask 4 the whole @wale "tweet fight" story & I'll gladly tell it. Bcuz it's part of a bigger issue..."
Wale apparently saw these tweets and responded to Amanda's fans who were attacking him via Twitter:
"Stop being gullible.. Please.. Think about info before you lash... Really process things said by ppl seeking ATTENTION . America"
There's 3 sides to every story, so who's telling the truth? My personal take on the situation is this: We ALL know that Wale can be a bit emotional via Twitter. Hell, when I interviewed him on the BET Hip Hop Awards red carpet he admitted it (Click Here For His Explanation). However, you have to take into account that this isn't Amanda's first beef with rappers. It's actually more of a regular thing with her and when it comes to seeking attention online, she definitely is good for that too. So, who do you ride with on this one? Wale or Amanda Diva?

They're both acting like broads. Only thing is, only one IS a broad.
And did Amanda even @ Wale? How was she seeking attention when it was HE that retweeted her? I see plenty of Wale slander/shade moonwalking across my TL...so what.

im not taking either side...however what i learned a long time ago is that you better be able to deal with the words you speak point blank period. just because its a social media site doesnt mean that the burn from the words hurt any lesser. Im not saying to run up on a woman, what i am saying is you dont know how that persons day is going, or what emotional rollercoaster their on. Just be prepared for a nigga to respond to another NIGGAS comments.

If you're one of those people who loves to give their opinion then you can't hate when you're confronted with what you say. I think she blew him coming up to her. I see women pull that bs all the time. Say any and everything they want but when a man confronts them on it then he's a punk and out of line.
