There's a misconception out there that if a woman only dates Ballers she is a Jersey Chaser or Gold Digger. Although this can be true in many instances, there are actually quite a few woman who don't fall into this category. Here are a few examples for how you can tell the difference between the two.

Some women date within their class: If you are a woman who is a baller yourself, it's more likely that all you will date are fellow Ballers. Of course there is nothing wrong with a person dating "under their class" but it isn't likely to happen. If you absolutely MUST judge a woman by who she dates, see if she lives up to the standards she's placing on her men. You may learn something. 

Some women are accustomed to a certain lifestyle: You can't take a woman out the hood and expect her to want to go back! Some women are "chosen" by a Baller early in life and once you've dated one, you don't want to settle for anything else. At this point her stock has risen and she has to date up or risk never getting another Baller again. This woman can be a groupie or may not be. The only way to know is to find out how she met her first Baller. 

Some women only attract Ballers: There are a special breed of women out there who's pheromone’s only attract Ballers. She doesn't have to try hard but something about her is the epitome of what every Baller wants to get his hands on. Essentially, she's not the groupie, the Baller is a groupie for her!

The main way to tell the difference between any of the above women and a Jersey Chaser is motive! Certain motives are a dead giveaway for groupies and gold diggers.

- If she dates won't talk to a man until she later finds out that he is a Baller, she's a groupie. 

- If she only dates a man based off of what kind of clothes he wears, what car he drives or how much money he spends, she's a gold digger.
