I'm not surpised at all.  Haven't you noticedthat any major artist with Cash Money leaves i.e Juvenile, Manne Fresh, B.G., hell the Hot Boys.  Hell even though they were major artist most of them were still broke, beacsue Baby and Slim gots to get their's!! Thats why Wayne round here kising niggas in the mouth becasue they own his lil ass.  Lol!  A reall nigga ain't going that route and even though Drake ain't no reall G in my eyes, he's making a smart move.  You do the work you get the pay, not every tom, d***, and Harry in the entourage.  He's probably realizing this now that he sold so many records and the #'s are just not adding up!

I think it was,a great move on his part! Drake is not stupid, he knows what he's doing! And how did they make him who he is today?? Drake was hot before he signed with them he doesn't exactly need young money to keep himself relevant hell in my opinon Drake, Nicki is the only thing keeping yhem relevant nobody else on that label is hot right now. Hell before he even signed with Wayne he was on tour overseas with jay.he's good, especially if there playing about his money. Why would he stay? Young money is the like the new age bad boy. Lol

Good for him!! I neva thought Drake fit in with young money anyway. Birdman round here buying all these expensive cars, so he propably stealing everybody money.

@Mese they made him who he is because if it wasn't for the Prince's he would have never met Bun, never met Wayne, never signed Young Money and made it thus far. His management was there prior to the deal too. You can hear him rapping about Tez in his old rhymes.  I don't think its a wise move but we shall see.

Not the smartest move in the world , but he could possibly be more successful than other YMCMB acts that have left the company . I think he will be fine . Nobody can survive in that  YMCMB environment for long without noticing that something is wrong with accounting ! I think that Wayne was referring to Shanell ( just a hunch ) not Drake .
