From the SuperBowl to the bench. Plaxico Burress is done for the year. The Giants fined and suspended him on Tuesday for the rest of the season..after he accidentally shot himself in the right thigh at the nightclub. Can you say dumb? I'm all for bearing arms but not like this. If he felt that threatened he could have hired armed security.
On top of that an illegal weapons possession charge carries a penalty of 31/2 to 15 years in prison if he is convicted.
He is not new to dumb ass drama...a tipster told us a while ago about how he dogged his wife at a birthday party and let his jumpoff disrespect her. Karma coming to bite him in the ass maybe.
This is the second time the Giants have suspended Burress this season. He missed the Oct. 2 game against Seattle for missing a team meeting. He also has been fined dozens of times since 2005 for violating team rules, and he was hit with a $45,000 fine by the league this season for abusing an official and throwing a ball into the stands during a game.
These players are so blessed but continue to fuck it up...
Police want to question Antonio Pierce and Ahman Bradshawn....they are insisting they did nothing wrong. The only thing they did wrong was hanging with their homie.
The New York Post reported in Wednesday's edition that police impounded Pierce's SUV on Tuesday to look for any blood or gunpowder residue that might be inside. Following the shooting, police say Pierce drove Burress to the hospital and returned to New Jersey with Burress' gun in the glove compartment of his black Cadillac Escalade.
Plaxico Burress turned himself in to police Monday after shooting himself over the weekend.
Not only will he not be playing...but he will lost his $1 million dollar signing bonus.
Furthermore...the people at the hospital who treated him are in deep doo doo because they did not report the shooting..as required by law. He was probably a fan...

It's about time he got a dose of his own medicine. After having his girlfriends jump his wife while at the club and not do anything about it.

He has more than enough to hire enough security for every moment of his life. Thats what happens when you have an ego and you start showing off thinking your invincible. He definitely doesnt deserve 3 years though. I think by him shooting himself he has already paid the price.

This one right here hits hard on my pockets as well of a few others I know he deals with. Plaxico was never the smartest and it pissed me off because he almost got us caught up with a situation with his wife. He was here in Miami and asked if he could use my phone because his was dead and he calls her from it. I didn't know who the hell he was calling, I didn't think he would do something that stupid. She calls my phone back a few hours later and I answer it. We get into a screaming match "who is this"..."who is this".. over and over. Then she asked, "you fucking Plax?" I immediately went to his room afterward and went off on his ass for being so got damn dumb. I don't care what the situation is, you DO NOT CALL FROM the bitch you fucking with phone unprivate!
With that said, I feel for his ass.
