Evelyn, I really wanted to root for you but this mess right here came off as just too soon. 

And where are those head scars at tho? TV makeup isn't that heavy. She looks nice here but something is off about this interview.

This is just way too soon.  It took Rihanna damn near 3 years (4?) to talk about her incident with CB.  I guess she can't hold it forever because her career is based on her attention whoring but I'm sorry, if I just split from the love of my life I wouldn't be able to talk about it.  

Her interview was 5 minutes lol- less if you count all the B roll they included.  Even they aren't treating it like it's super important.  I think she needed to let a little more time pass before doing a national interview.

I can't say that I believe or disagree with Evelyn because there's 3 sides to every story: His side, her side, and the truth! What I will say is that I'm happy that she was able to walk away. As a woman who was abused, I strongly believed that "love" was going to change my man. The first time he hit me, I thought it was a mistake. The second time he hit me, I thought it was my fault. Then the third time and after, I accepted that he hit me because he loved me. I eventually left him after 9 years, but I know so, so many women who stay and deal with it. I wish nothing but the best for Evelyn and Chad. We shouldn't point fingers at anyone, because we don't know what really happened.

I am so thankful you shared this wisdom. I have been wondering for yearrrrrrrrRs why a woman stays in abusive relationships after the first fight.

(not that this makes me condone it. Just provides first-hand insight into the why.)
