Danger was one of the memorable reality stars on VH1's "For the Love of Ray J"
TMZ reported that she was held in a psychiatric ward earlier this month:
Monica Danger -- who starred in the first season of VH1's "For the Love of Ray J" -- was taken in on a 5150 psychiatric hold earlier this month after an incident involving her newborn daughter. TMZ spoke with Danger's rep, who told us the reality star had some personal issues as a result of postpartum depression and spent a week in a psychiatric hospital in Northern California.
We're told people close to Danger became concerned when she suddenly shaved off her hair -- a la Britney -- after an argument with her baby's father.
But Danger's rep tells us she's now out of the hospital and doing "fine" adding, "At this time we ask all of Danger's fans for support and prayer."
Baller Alert has exclusive details leading up to the mental breakdown. Danger's birthday is the day after thanksgiving. Sources tells Baller Alert that her baby father didn't invite her to thanksgiving dinner with his family but took the baby. She basically spent both holidays alone. Her brother was in a terrible car accident and went through a windshield and he is still in the hospital. Those incidents combined made her snap and shave her head. Concerned friends called the sheriff after she was talking crazy over the phone. She was then admitted.
Her twitter timeline has also been weird with tweets about being pregnant again.
We hope that she has gotten the help she needed...and we pray for a speedy recovery.

I know plenty of women who have babies and trifling babies daddies and don't need to be instituted...I think she has some other deeper issues she should address for the sake of her child. She might be bi-polar or have manic-depression either way that's not mommy material. She is such a pretty girl and was one of my favorite characters she stood up to all those stupid hoochies. Ray J should give her a show...I would watch her anyday over NY's ugly ass.

Life in general is hard enough and some people can't handle the scrutiny of being in the public eye... I hope that she gets help and has people around her that can give her the support she needs especially for the baby.

- @mochagirl... I agree about the tat on the face. I was also reading her twitter rant about Thanksgiving apparently Nick & Mariah did not want her around...she said some crazy stuff that day, she claims that her account had been had hacked, after reading this I am inclined to think it was her but it went on for quite a while and had some not so nice things about Mariah on there as well. I think that these reality shows need to do better screening of the people it allows on its shows.
