Forbes Lists Their Highest Paid Female Athletes

Forbes has released their annual list of highest paid women in sports.

Tennis star Maria Sharapova comes in at number one for the 11th straight year, bringing in $29.7 million. The awesomeness that is Serena Williams isn’t far behind, raking in $24.6 million from prize money and endorsements between June 2014 and June 2015. It seems that tennis is a big money maker for female athletes with tennis players taking up 7 of the top 10 highest paid female athletes in the world.

UFC fighter Ronda Rousey came in at number 8, bringing in $6.5 million -$3.5 million of that are endorsements including Reebok, Metro PCS, Monster headphones, Buffalo David Bitton and Carl’s Jr.
