Future Fires Back At Ciara For Blasting Him In “I Bet”

Ciara wants her baby daddy to stop dragging her through the mud and she’s taking him to court to make sure that happens. However, Future is fighting back, saying that Ciara’s claims are ridiculous considering she made money off bad mouthing him as well.

Exhibit A: Her 2015 single, “I Bet” off her album “Jackie.”

The lyrics are as follows: “You know that it hurts your pride but you thought the grass was greener on the other side. I bet you start loving me as soon as I start loving someone else. Somebody better than you.”

Though Ciara never says his name, many believe the song was dedicated to her recent break up with Future and spilled the tea about him cheating on her. Sources say Future could have sued over that, but didn’t want to be petty. Whether he decides to do so now, is unknown.

TheJasmineBrand.com obtained the legal documents filed, including emails from Ciara’s counsel to Future’s on January 4th. According to the comments filed in the lawsuit,  Ciara’s lawyers weren’t here for the rapper’s custody claims. “It is entirely untrue to state that Ms. Harris has refused your client’s parenting time requests. At a minimum, it is a gross representation, and your client should cease and desist from attempting to publicly humiliate my client on social media by lying about paying her $15k/month in child support while not being able to see his son,” Ciara’s lawyer says.  “It is precisely this lack of self-control and discipline exhibited by Mr. Wilburn today that has Ms. Harris worried about multiple, extended periods of parenting time, especially given the events of the most recently visitation periods, and the fact that when you client requests parenting time, it has been when he’s scheduled professional obligations and he would be unable to spend time with the child anyway.”

I can see this getting uglier before it gets better.
