According to reports, Gilbert Arenas is allegedly taking his ex-management to court. Apparently both his management and assistant were robbing him blind and the former basketball star had no idea.
Lester Knispel of Boulevard Management in 2006 to assist with watching over his finances. Just two years later Arenas signed a $111 million contract with the Washington Wizards, so they had plenty of finances to watch over.
Arenas had previously accused his former assistant John White of transferring millions of dollars to himself between 2007 and 2013. White was convicted of fraud for those transfers but according to the latest court documents, it was Boulevard Management that approved them. Arenas also said that Boulevard overcharged him $2.25 million for their services. He is asking for $40 million in damages.
