I Hope He Doesn't Think I'm Some Kind Of Hoe...

She knows what she wants. She goes out and gets it. She sees a guy she is interested in, she goes in for the kill and makes it known. She's just having fun, doesn't want a serious relationship right now, and doesn't mind having a couple of "boyfriends" at a time. Does that make her a hoe?

There is a huge double standard when it comes to this scenerio. Some of our favorite ballers live this lifestyle every day. Some of them are in serious relationships but while on the road are sleeping with everything walking. When they do it, they're players, they're doing what is expected and they're just being guys. Women on the other hand are not allowed to live this lifestyle without it coming with some very harsh labels.

This label effects us most when we're attempting to start a relationship with a guy we are really into. As a woman, if you so much as hung around with too many men at one time, it was assumed you have slept with atleast half of them. The other half probably watched. Are men smart enough to be able to decipher fact from fiction. Even if you had slept with half of the crew, are men capable of looking passed that and starting a new life with you?

Ladies, let's face it. To avoid looking like a hoe you'll have to avoid being seen with men. The other option is appearing EXTRA platonic in public, as if one of the guys, but then you may be mistaken as lesbian. Men are very visual creatures. They believe more of what they see and less of what you tell them. There boys on the other hand can tell them anything and they'll believe it. Men are also unreasonable. They want to be able to sleep with a million women, but don't want you to have done the same. Their reasoning? "Women are emotional creatures" or "Your genitalia isn't meant for ALL that and it's probably used and abused". In reality men are probably more afraid of WHO you've slept with and how they compare, then HOW many people you've slept with.

So ladies, this is your chance to live your life how you see fit. You want to sleep with men, no strings attached? Just be safe. Does it make you a hoe? Maybe...but so is he :)

I say you are a hoe if you dumb about it: messing with people  you shouldn't, having unprotected sex, letting everyone know who you screwing, not getting anything out of effing dudes left and right, and most important how do you feel about yourself. A lot of women do it for all kinds of wrong reasons and feel like crap after it. As long as you enjoy it, and discrete about it's none of nobodies business.

There will always be double standards

This is the most ridiculous topic that keeps coming up. I don't know when it happened but the concept of DATING has completely disappeared. For the record, men are basically stupid! and guilt ridden. They place there insecurities on women and we buy into that. Every man that one goes out with, is seen with or talks to, IS NOT A BED PARTNER!..That is real talk..If you care about what a man thinks in most cases, then you too are insecure. Allowing words to define your character is a waste of time and energy. Life is too short to allow others to decide who or what you are..

Sound like what i'm doing at the moment. I'm DATING and having fun. I don't think I'm a hoe by any means. If someone thinks otherwise do I really care? ummm no.

this is very double standard;; But we also have to realize society made it this way.....which is why it became a double standard....it is very true that a male gets praised if he sleeps around and it so calls raises his status...but a female gets degraded if she does the same...I dont feel a female should limit herself of who she is seen with in public and I also agree with @CreativeB that alot of females do it for the wrong reasons....I mean if she doesn't feel good afterwards then that should tell her something then she shouldnt feel any type of way afterwards...but I feel as long as a female respects herself in the process and has a right reason of doing what she does then go for it.....i thnk as long as she goes about it respectably then maybe males will look at her different rather than how they look at a "hoe"

women can do things that arent accepted from men to so these "double standards" go both ways, and lets be honest females help make this "double standard" exist, as men we tend to treat and look at females we deem hoes a certain way but women dont do the samething with men, hell alot of females respect the fact that a dude can "pull females", and on the other side if a dude's only been with a few females(like 1-3) women tend to look at him negatively like he cant get girls or doesnt know how to converse with females. so at the end of the day its perpetuated by both males and females and it will likely always be this way all u gotta know is that hoes r not a good look point blank period...then again im a regular dude and yall r talkin bout ballers who might not care as much idk

hoes have been winning for quite some time...

Hoes may win temporarily but not long term... And at the end of the day it's all about how you carry yourself... You can be seen as a hoe even if you are not... To each his own, life is too short to worry about what the next chick is doing with her puss...
