I'm The Female Baller.. How Do I Make Him Feel Like A Man??
This blog is for all of my female ballers out there. It's inevitable that you'll run across a guy that you become interested in that may not quite be in the same tax bracket as you are. What happens when things start getting serious and your "less than a baller" starts to feel insecure about a woman being the bread winner? Here's a few ways to let your man feel like the MAN.
1) Fail Sometimes- As much as he loves you, he is still a man with an ego. He want's to see you do well, but every now and then he wants to be able to rescue. Every now and then "accidentally" let your cell phone bill go past due. If he knows that at any given moment he's of use, his confidence in his role in the relationship will go up. I'm not saying do something stupid and completely fall on your ass. Just something small and ask for a little help.
2) Don't Be A Big Spender- If your man isn't making the kind of money you are, maybe going HALF on the bills isn't the best thing to do. Be considerate of the fact that he's not bank rolling and monitor your spending. Whether it be bills or pleasure, don't flaunt the money in his face.
3) Do Something For Him- If you're home from work early, do a little something for him. Every man can appreciate a home cooked meal, a clean house or having his back rubbed. He may not bring in the dollars you do, but he shouldn't feel like less than a King.
4) Stop Nagging- Nothing makes a man feel low like his woman telling him how worthless he is. If he can't hold up his end of the deal either stick it out or get out. Making a budget on your end for "security" is a sure fire way to weather any storm but telling your man he's "less than a man" is sure fire way to open the flood gates!
5) Tell him you appreciate him- Sometimes a few kind words will go a long way. Just telling your man that you think he's special and that you appreciate everything that he does for you, even when he doesn't have to, will put a smile on his face. A happy man makes for a happy relationship.
So to all ladies, it's okay to be the baller of the relationship, and as long as show your man you need him, he'll be sure to stick around...pride in tact.

Been there done this (way TOO MANY times) and it has NEVER worked out.
Just like "we" always tell each other (women) that you either have confidence or you need to get some? Same applies to men... Women can't "make" a man feel secure with his position in the relationship ESPECIALLY when a woman is making more (or much more) coin than he is.
If a man doesn't go into it already being/feeling confident, there is no dumbing-down in the world that's going to make him feel better.
Trust, I've done the leg work. LOL

Men need to feel wanted ... they have to feel they serve a purpose to us women... sometimes we have to be the helpless chick lol .... even if u are a super baller female ... u got play they helpless role at times .... If you don't u won't get the nice things ... what will he buy u? .. when u can buy it all ... how will feel wearing the pants if he knows ... u never need him for nothing? ....Sad but true ...Most ballers get pleasure out of exposing you to the finer things ... If you already exposed to these things ... he feels he can not measure up to you ... then they resort to the chick that has less( like me lol ) ... I been preaching this to my sister for years ... this why she is single ... she needs to get on BA.

mannnnnnnn.when i found out what my luv will be makin in the fall i started hula-hooping. i could care less what she makes bc i know both our incomes are for US. I thinkyou have to have a mate that really believes in TEAM US, and not that individual nonsense.

i will say this one thing. we men do have very LARGE EGOS that really need to be stroked. Like my ass was thinking i was big s*** for getting a 3.5 this semester my damn woman secretly was 2nd n her class n law school. I knew she did it to stroke my extra large ego and appreciated it nonetheless.

Story of my life..men are sooo intimidated by successful women..either you end up being a sugarmomma or he feels inadequate. is it too much to ask a man be as ambitious and successful as I am if not more!? Why should I dumb down my accomplishments and the fruits of said accomplishments to make a man feel like a man?? Gahhhh. Welp. I'm single. Obviously. Lol
