It's a shame that alot of these men have no financial planning skills, and that the leagues take these guys straight from school, so.....when their career is over they have no money or education to fall back on.
They live above their means and of course you can't live in the same neighborhood, but you can buy a Mansion in ATL for at least 350,000 flat out, pay for it, pay your taxes and be done..that's yours. A Luxury car or 2 is all that's needed, BLING is for everyone else to know your status, I know my status I don't need (2) 50,000 chains FOR WHAT AND INVEST SOME IN YOUR CHILDREN(SSSSS)for goodness sakes. Of course it's to each is own and if they have it why not spend it?...BUT LEARN HOW TO MANAGE YOUR OWN money. You can never trust a manager or financial planner in many cases THEY STEAL- It's just human nature when given so much control over ANYONES assets that you are bound to be tempted. These young and (old might I add) men have to do better and stop being so easily influenced by the Hip Hop culture thinking that money, hoes, cars, clothes and jewelry is where it's at. Unfortunately this is viewed as "THE LIFE". I have never seen/heard of anyone buried with a Bentley..although that's not far fetched in this day and age.
The leagues should have courses for these guys to learn how to manage thier money when the enter because they have NO IDEA what to do with all this money. Im sure it will help them, even though these skills should've been taught by their parents.

@Slim, I totally agree. I do however, think it would be a waste for the league to offer classes because most players probably won't attend unless the course is mandatory.

Everytime a Baller gets dressed up, puts on his biggest and most expensive chain, jumps in his expensive car and chills in the club popping bottles in VIP, he's doing that for the attention of WOMEN. Period! If he didn't want the attention he wouldn't go out of his way to be noticed. This is why i dont feel bad for them. They want the attention and when they get it, they act like they were held down and raped. I'm sorry, the women didnt make u spend all your money. You did that.

I didn't miss it. I seen us representing on there. We should I'd got more airtime tho. I hope the flops on there got paid because they were looking sad and washed up. Everything on here is very true, we talked about this in my sociology class. The fact that more black men were on here was a but bias, like the white man don't do this $hit.Anyhow
