Think about it. You have to be in tip top shape to be a stripper. Climbing up and down the pole take strength and endurance. Dancing for hours every night is tiring..but the sweet part about it is it's legal, and most get paid well. Let me back up..they get paid tax free cash.

I spoke with a few strippers and on good nights the least they take home is $500 dollars..and the most someone told me they took home was $17,000. The one who took home $17,000 said it was a private party with ballers and they made it tsunami (instead of rain). She claims she did not have to screw to get that $17,000 - it was butt naked dancing only.

Can stripping be an organized sport? We already have the Miss Nude contests and pole dancing classes offered in our local gyms. I think it could be done..and we already have the theme song Make It Rain by Fat Joe.

Thoughts?

you know this whole stripping thing, i have nothing against if they say on the stage and dance...but when you add all these other variables into the equation like having sex, then its like its nothing more than prostitution; and with that i do not know if stripping can truly be organized.

I don't think so, however strippin is a good hustle in most cases. There's so many types of strippers. Some will do anything for a dollar, and their the ones on a good night bring home upwards of 500. But then you have dancers, high class, banging body, had to audition, trained dancers, that can not be touched, who really are paying their way through college and driving a car he or she can't afford bring home upwards of $17,000. I seen it happen before Even though I don't pay no hoe.

Stripping is a Paid Sport for Women and Men, Please Believe! Have u peeped how the women have to bust better moves than the next, and all that upper body strength needed to work the poles? Some of them girls Im sure train like athletes. I have seen some Cardio and strength training all in one routine;Quit Playin..
If it wasn't such a Fantastic, eye pleasing and visually stimulating sport ,many of women would not join the profession, and men would not watch and pay for it! These women work hard for the money, give them hoes they props!!!! Lol

It's a gud hustle don't get me wrong if that's what and how you make your money do you. But when you get to selling ass, snorting coke, having sex with women/men unprotected and all that extra stuff then we're stepping out side of a sport. It's becoming prostitution w/dancing involved. I know some girls who dance for men and are full blown lesbians and it makes their job much easier. Due to the fact I care too much about what people think, I have an image to keep up and an 8 month old daughter, and a good ass job. NO POLE DANCING for me, at least for now....

It is whatever the individual WANTS it to be. If 'stripdance' is what a woman wants to do ,why not. The routines and training they go through would literally floor most men,so as an exercise regime-it's tough. As stated previously, tis when this'artform' leads to illicit sex, drug taking etc, that it's seen as seedy, dirty and all other negative labels attached. Good luck to all who do this, and, keep smilin' folks.

It is a sport and I think it could be organized if done right.

Oaktown Dime Comment by Oaktown Dime on March 5, 2009 at 2:13pm
For sure it could be a sport if organized to be that and professional. Its true what the family saying in regards to it being whatever the dancer wants it to be. Just be ready for the seedyness of that lifestyle. Shoot I wanna take a class though, u cant hate on the ones that know what the hell they doin, them is pure SKILLZ:)
