I think you really did a great job supporting your view in this post.  I can enjoy and appreciate good writing even when I don't necessarily agree with the slant.

Thank you gorgeous.  We can agree to disagree without being disagreeable.  I don't slant though, I simply speak my truth and those I've encountered.  Feel free to vist my blog at lairhaven.blogspot.com and have a preview of Poor Ho, Rich Ho by way of my blog.  They say people who don't want to hear new things don't like to learn, you seem like a smart woman to me.  It takes a bright lady to understand fairness without losing herself.  I'm open to the dialogue if you are.

Great article and something my girls and I are always discussing. I feel like part of the reason why so many "uncommitted hos" dress like "committed hos" is because there really isn't any other option. I mean if you think about it realistically, if you're going to be a group/crowd situation trying to snag a baller, if you dress regular or conservatively, they are going to pass you by. I think that the whoring behavior might be more important than the dress in this case. Not saying that you're wrong...i'm just saying lol.

ok, first and foremost I know that I will be ereading this book tonight!

Now, to the topic at hand.  On the inside I can tell you that I work hard, very hard, thankfully I have a man who shares my work ethic but I can say that has not always been the case.  Men wanted to have all the fun but for free; don't get me wrong, I like the fun just like everybody else; but I got sick of walking away empty handed.  The truth is a man IS willing to trade something for what he wants so I decided to consider if his trade made it worth my while.  Now does this make me a ho?  I guess that depends on who you ask but I can tell you one thing, I don't care what they think of me.  I know that I'm just more honest than most.  The wife who only gives up the good p**** when her husband has spent his check kissing her ass is no different.

As for the outside only, I look good.  Nature did me a favor and I work to I maintain it.  I know how I look when I go to the grocery store (yes, this one can cook!) and I know how I look when I go out.  I am also smart enough to be able to tell what a man see's when he looks at me.  So with this we are back at the exchange table, if he is only willing to see me one way then I handle him as such; and if he is open to more then so am I.  It's that simple.

I guess I feel like if you are even a member of this site that you are game for whatever.  We as women hold each other to impossible standards.  We are so quick to throw morals at each other like stake knives through the heart to prove we are worthy respectable women.  What are we trying to prove by doing that. The end game is all that matters.  "My Momma taught me better than that".  Your Mom taught you how to cross your legs at church, and hide your dirt.  The result, baby momma's, bad relationships, premarital sex, abortions, ect.  "I'm college educated and make more money than most men".  But you still put on those black leather leggings and thigh boots, go to the club and compete for the same attention as the high school drop out groupie chick for a man.  Let's stop with the schizophrenic behavior we've all learned from our elders who preach respectability while having affairs with the ministers of the church.  We want financially ambitious, successful men to dangle us from their arms because that's where we feel like we belong.  I like Lair's comment it's real.
