We all saw it, when Sean Carter said he was bringing the Nets to Brooklyn he wasn’t lying. In approximately one year the New Jersey Nets will be renamed the Brooklyn Nets and will take residence at their new home court at the Barclays Center only minutes away from the Marcy Homes where Jigga Man grew up. The Barclays Center will also be home to a wide range of events, starting with a series of concerts, at least eight. The Barclays Center has also created more jobs, which is definitely a little positivity.
A new name isn’t the only thing that the Nets should expect. Also look out for new team colors. Although the colors haven’t been revealed yet, I’m thinking Jay Z Blue….or maybe “All Black Everything”. Hey Mr. Carter, congrats!
