K.Michelle Says Memphitz Threatened To Kill Her Son If She Didn't Stop Running Her Mouth
This story is getting wilder and wilder. Just to recap, R&B singer and star of Love & Hip Hop Atlanta dropped a bomb on viewers when she announced on the first episode that she had been abused by her boyfriend, the man who signed her, who happened to be Memphitz of Jive Records/Hitz Committee. Memphitz, who is married to Lil Wayne's ex-wife Toya, had been pretty quiet at first, but later responded to K.Michelle via a tweet where he mentioned how he bought her teeth, breasts and butt and compared her to Pinnochio, saying that he made her. K. Michelle lashed out calling him a Twitter bully and also released a song where she not only disses her Love & Hip Hop cast mates, but tells the world to shut up because you weren't there when "he" hit her. iPower Richmond radio host TT Torrez landed an interview with Memphitz where he adamantly denied K.Michelle's abuse claims and said that she needed help. This was all in the span of 14 days, folks.
Now K.Michelle is firing back yet again. In an interview with Atlanta's V-103 K.Michelle drops quite the bomb. She says that not only did Memphitz abuse her, but he also threatened her child.
"This situation, if anybody has followed me, I’m not a new artist. For the past three years I have spoken out against it. I didn’t get on tv to try to hurt him or try to hurt his situation. I never even said his name on TV. For three years I have been a advocate for domestic violence."
“I havn’t even been out of my record deal over a year...and the only way I got out...I didn’t get dropped...the only way I got out of that deal…I owed $2 million dollars...the only way I got out of that deal...I had to get a lawyer and I had to give them all the text messages and everything. They [the label] already knew what the situation was. But I fought and fought to get out. I own my publishing and everything right now because of the text messages that he sent. He threatened to kill my child if I did not stop running my mouth.”
“I’m not looking for no help from the world…but I’m not going to be quiet. He can slander my name and do whatever he wants to do, but I’m going to tell my story and I don’t care who don’t like it.”
This whole situation is crazy! I don't know who to believe at this point. Not taking anything away from K but if all this happened, especially the threatening of her child, was there a restraining order? Some kind of court document? If Memphitz DID do this, then karma may be rearing her ugly head for him soon.

And I want to see where she owes 2 milli.. was in the music business and that number is way off.

But, when he whooped her arse he claims that workers witnessed and the police were called. Any woman who can show even a dam scratch can send a man upstate. I feel bad if he did whoop her arse but my thing is the world saw how Rhianna got her arse whooped and even she eventually STFU

If all she had to do was provide evidence of his abuse to get off the hook for $2 million, she must have a lot of it. She must have good lawyers on her side because I don't hear of any label execs coming after her. She sounds credible. Hurt and maybe a little bitter too, but believable.

If ANYONE threatened my child I wouldn't kill them but I sure as hell would shoot them in each kneecap. The first shot as a warning and the second just in case I didn't make my point clear enough.

I think he may have done something to her, but she is over-exaggerating the rest. If he threatened my child and I was scared I still wouldn't be talking no matter how many years later. SO either she don't give a damn about her child or she lying about something.

usually when people are in DV situations they dont call the police. somtimes when they do they might later drop the charges. its hard for victims to actually take action against their abuser.
