Kevin Durant Could Be Leaving Nike For $325 Mil Under Armour Deal

Kevin Durant may be leaving Nike soon, and for $325 million bucks, wouldn’t you? Rumor has it that the Oklahoma City Thunder star is close to inking a 10 year / $325 million endorsement with Under Armour. That’s over 30 million a year, a historic endorsement salary!

Under Armour is based in the DMV, Durant’s hometown, and the location may help sway his decision. Michael McBride, Under Armour’s senior manager of sports marketing, tweeted earlier this week: “Wish I could tell everyone what is going on today.” The tweet included a photo of some Under Armour-branded bottled water on a basketball court and a note pad that appeared to be set up for a presentation. It also included four hashtags: “#Future #GoodPeople #Recruiting #Partnerships.”  This could be a great look for KD. We’ll have to watch and see what happens!
