LA Clippers Owner Donald Sterling Tells Girlfriend Not To Bring Blacks To His Games

Los Angeles Clippers owner, Donald Sterling, sure knows how to keep the drama around him. Back in March Sterling’s wife Rochelle Sterling sued Sterling’s side chick, V. Stiviano, for engaging in a sexual affair with her husband since 2010. Now Stiviano has unveiled that not only is Sterling a cheater, but he’s racist too.

V. Stiviano, the now former girlfriend of Los Angeles Clippers owner Donald Sterling, posted a photo of her and Magic Johnson to her Instagram page which made Sterling highly upset. In a recorded conversation, Sterling asks Stiviano,  “Why are you taking pictures with minorities? Why?” Mind you, Stiviano is Black and Mexican. Sterling tries to explain to her that the world is racist and it’s the culture. Latinos feel a way about Blacks and Blacks feel a certain way about other races and there is nothing she can do about it.

Stiviano asks, “People call you and tell you that I have black people on my Instagram, and it bothers you?” to which Sterling replies, “Yes, it bothers me a lot that you want to broadcast that you’re associating with black people.”  He tells her that she is “supposed to be a delicate white or a delicate Latina girl.” to which Stiviano has to remind him that she is mixed, “You’re asking me to remove something that’s part of me and in my blood stream.” Sterling tells her that basically it’s cool to love black people, just do it privately and not on Instagram. He also tells her not to bring black people to his games.

This is pretty sick and twisted that this old man would twist racism to work for his benefit. The team that brings him money is primarily Black. His girlfriend is half Black, but he only acknowledges the non black part of her. Otherwise the black part makes her less “delicate.” And he blames it all on culture.

This takes me back to the Paula Deen controversy and how so many young kids think that racism is dead because they have white kids that grew up in the ghetto that use the word “nigga.” They forget to realize that there are generations that came before them, that are still teaching their children and their children’s children, how to not date certain races or be seen with them in public.

You can listen to the recording below.

As far as Magic, he says, “It’s a shame that Donald Sterling feels that way about African-Americans.”
