Uh....no.  Though I feel strong emotions over seemingly small things, I'm not a crier or a person who expresses it externally.  A man who does that would annoy the hell out of me.

Black males tend to be socialized to be very hyper-masculine, there are many that I've met that really show no emotion besides anger, super macho. I told this one guy that he is so monotone. I used to do things to get a reaction out of him, like surprise him with his favorite meal, or I'd purposely try to push his buttons, but he was always the same monotone person.

 

I get tired of the walls and them shutting down and shutting me out whenever something happens. Even in instances of death of a loved one, no emotion. It's like dealing with a robot. I don't want a cry baby, but I do want to know that you are a human that experiences feeling.

I dated a guy that use to cry all the damn time... I got sick of it. LOL

lol I dated guy who was crying too, he would call me and cry I miss you, I stopped taking his cries seriously very fast and it made me uncomfortable because I rarely cry. I like when they get mushy sometimes but not all the time.

I've dated a cry baby before.  No fun!  He was overly sensitive and it just got on my nerves. I'm built to be strong and while I can get emotional everything doesn't hurt my feelings.  I felt like he used it to make me feel guilty or pity him, It just made me disgusted.  I need a man to be a man but that's not to say anything is wrong with a man shedding a tear over a heartfelt gesture or death or something.  Its the crying for random bs that p***** me off.
