Ready or not, here he comes, you can’t hide, Uncle Sam will find you! Ms. Hill is learning that all to well. After failing to file her income tax for 5 years and failing to report more than $2.3 million in income, Lauryn has been sentenced to 3 months of jail time and 3 years of house arrest. Ms. Hill recently signed a $1 million record deal with Sony and dropped a new song that was supposed to not only help her pay what she owed, but avoid jail time, but it looks like she will be seeing the inside of a cell anyway. Cold World!
Looks like you go to jail if you pay, go to jail if you don’t. I’m sure this will put a damper on Lauryn’s plans on touring and releasing more music. I guess we can call this the Miseducation of Lauryn’s Taxes.
