Let Me Introduce You To... The Team

I was going through this in my head, so since I'm up anyway, I thought I'd introduce you to... The Team.

BLACK

Mariah Carey - Hall of Fame starter, credentials solidified and certified

Alicia Keys - patiently waiting backup who should be starting (Matt Schaub during the Mike Vick era)

Stacey Dash (emeritus) - more or less retired (inactivity), but could get back on the team whenever she felt like it

Honorable Mentions: Meagan Good, Gabrielle Union (they're languishing in Triple A, no roster or salary cap space after the superstars, though they will be All-Stars immediately upon call-up)

WHITE

Megan Fox - #1 draft pick rookie starter

Sarah Palin - backup with little mileage

Catherine Zeta-Jones - I don't know what she is exactly, so I'm lumping her in with white folk, although that is probably incorrect. Down the depth chart due to the sudden rise of the #1 pick and the unexpected signing of the backup. A veteran done wrong.

LATIN

Roselyn Sanchez - often overlooked consistent All-Star starter (Fred Taylor type, for those who know football)

Adrienne Bailon (3LW/Cheetah Girls) - straight out of high school draft pick, finally making mark on the team as a backup

Honorable Mentions: Salma Hayek, Michelle Rodriguez, Jessica Alba, Eva Mendes, Vida Guerra - basically, this team is loaded, but for some reason not winning championships (think 2000 Redskins and the Yankees after 2000)

ASIAN

Jeanette Lee (pool player) - unknown 7th round pick starting by exceeding expectations

Vinita Nair (late late night ABC news anchor) - another unknown, Asian by way of India (similar to New Yorker by way of Staten Island, barely counts), but still on the team as a backup

(this is a small market team, with a weak farm system)

CANADA

Shania Twain - Donovan McNabb type veteran starter, fairly consistent, but could lose job any minute to up-and-comers

Trish Stratus (WWE) - backup with strong potential, who's stock is rising through attrition, even without exposure (been absent for over 2 years)

Tamia - Begging to get in the game, but can never get any playing time. Recently lost the backup spot, hanging in there as 3rd string, better watch out for management eyeing prospects.

EUROPE

Mel B - 2008 MVP starter

Monica Bellucci (actress) - Kurt Warner type vet, might not have to wait on the bench long

I'm sure I left a lot of worthy candidates off the team, fill in my gaps if you see any egregious omissions.

Never noticed the "cablasian" factor. Although where does the "asian" part factor
in? A good number of them are mixed, I don't know any of them to be part asian?
I'm guessing you meant just caucasian and black, and not asian? Please clarify.
