LeToya Luckett is the Queen of “Stay Low & Build” and it’s been working well for her. She recently did an interview with KTLA 5 News where she revealed that she’s been seeing someone for the past two years and they’re in love.
“Oh my god- I’m so private. This is my first time being asked this question, seriously. this is so cool. But It’s been about two years now. They have to be a really good guy, great heart. Very smart. It’s very rare that you find someone, especially in this industry, who sees you for who you are and loves everything about who you are, your flaws, your goofiness, your clumsiness. So I think I got lucky!”
And while she’s been basking in her flourishing love life, LeToya has also snagged a new acting gig. The script for Love is a Four Letter Word is currently in the works and the show is expected to air January 2016. Luckett will be playing one of the lead roles. Her character, Tandi, is a happily married mom who’s having trouble conceiving her second child. Her husband is played by Colin Donnell, who played Tommy Merlyn in CW’s ARROW (if you’re a fan, like me).
I’m glad to see LeToya happy and working. It’s important for women to know that they can have both, it just takes a little work.
