Looks like Baller Alert was right on the money when we named Nina Parker one of our Ballerific Women. It has just been announced that she will be hosting the upcoming reunion show Love & Hip Hop NY season 5.
You may recognize Nina Park from her work with TMZ, Insider and Access Hollywood. Now she can add one more television appearance to her growing resume. “With her passion for covering pop culture and all things Love and Hip Hop, Nina Parker was the perfect fit for VH1,” Nina L. Diaz, SVP, VH1 East Coast Production and Development tells Hollywood Reporter. “We are excited about her first hosting endeavor at the helm of LHH New York Season 5’s riveting 2-part reunion and look forward to more opportunities for Nina within the VH1 family.”
The reunion show was taped a few weeks ago in New York and will air in 2-parts. According to a recent Baller Mail, Erica Mena will not be joining the cast on the reunion set, instead she will be filming separately with Mona Scott-Young. We’ll have to wait and see if that part’s true but judging from the photo below, it looks like Erica is indeed missing. She also took to her Instagram page today to announce her departure from the show. Looks like that part of the Baller Mail was correct also.
